Sszark is an Animal, and a Flame Spider.

Sszark is found near the golden chest that contains Khalim's Eye, in the Spider Cavern, a dungeon below the Spider Forest. Sszark does not need to be killed to complete the quest, but he often blocks your path to the chest, or is worth killing while you're down there.

Sszark is a deceptively dangerous monster. Giant spiders aren't generally that difficult, and Flame Spiders do not have poison damage, but they have a lot of hit points, they do considerable damage with their bites, and Sszark is Extra Strong and Cursed. Facing him and his pack in a small cave area without room to retreat can be quite dangerous.

  • All values are listed by difficulty level: Normal / Nightmare / Hell.


  • The TC/Rune drops listed are the highest Treasure Class/Rune Group a normal monster of that type can drop.
    • Champions and Bosses can sometimes drop from the next higher TC.

Sszark the Burning is always Cursed and Extra Strong. He gains 1 random modifier on Nightmare and 2 on Hell.

  • Sszark deals physical damage with a 40% chance of adding fire damage.

Like most SuperUniques, Sszark does not regenerate hit points.

  • Regen Rate tells what % of a monster's hit points are recovered per second. Standard is 1.2/sec.
  • Blocking tells what % of successful, blockable attacks will not damage the monster. Monsters need not carry a shield to block.
  • Drain Effectiveness tells what % of a character's mana and life steal apply to that monster. 100 is all, 0 is none.
  • Chill Effectiveness tells what % of a character's cold length applies to the monster. 100 is all, 0 is no freeze/chill at all.
