Act Three, Wilderness. The Sorceress here showing off a skill we've never seen before; Enchant. This one gives her weapon a bonus of fire damage, which comes in handy, but doesn't appear to be quite getting the job done here, with the pack of Fetish and the massive Thorned Hulks lumbering in. Probably time to run here. No one is quite sure what the bright fire patterns are in front of the Sorceress. Theories range from a trail left by a slash with her sword, to a sort of fire forcefield, to the casting animation. All have problems, but most likely is that this is the actual casting animation for Enchant. The problem there is that the Sorceress isn't in a casting pose, but possibly her body movement is already over, and the graphical fire swirling around takes a bit longer to subside. Her sword is bright red though, indicating it is charged up with fire damage. Another new thing, the small Fetishes in the back, lower right, have blow guns, obviously giving them a ranged attack. There is one dart in flight that you can see between the Fetishes and the Thorned Hulks. They do physical damage, like arrows, it would seem. Unknown exactly what that bloody victim is above the Sorceress. Possibly some sort of sacrifice, like the tortured rogues you find all around Act One.
