[[Image:Mon-festering-appendages.jpg|frame|left]][[Baal]] summons these tentacle-like creatures from the ground, but only during the final battle in the [[Worldstone Chamber]]. They lash at nearby targets and deal damage, but are a welcome site to most players, since they can be leeched from at a much better rate than Baal, and often provide full life and mana refills to characters beleaguered by a long and bitter struggle against the Lord of Destruction.
