Act One, Prison Area, beneath the Monastery. The Amazon standing over a felled Bighead, while two of his (assuming they are male?) comrades close in from behind, with a skeleton between them. Odd looking bars behind her there, with just one missing. It doesn't look like a door, more like a broken bar, but where is it? I would suspect perhaps a missing bit of the graphics, as this is a very early build of the game. Also note the dead Bighead. They are quite tall and lean, much different than the thick-squat beasts they appear to be. Bad posture will do that do you. In other shots they look shaggy, like the brown coloration is some sort of pelt, but here you can clearly see that it's just coloration on their scaly hides. Also compare this shot, with the purple goo, while the blood is red here. Is the purple some sort of vomit, or maybe they can spit acid at close range? They appear to be a normal animal, where red blood is expected, so the purple stuff in the other pic is a bit of a mystery. These are from about the same build, so it's unlike that their blood color was changed in the programming, though it's certainly possible. -- Pre 3dfx build, 5/98
