| What is Median XL? |
Median XL is a mod for Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, created by Brother Laz. It is the latest incarnation of a series of mods which he wrote. Among them are Median 2, Median 2 SE (Special Edition), Median 2006, Median 2006 SE, Median 2007, Median 2007 SE, Median 2008, and now Median XL.

As of April 2009, the mod is currently at version 1.99d.
| What is a mod? |
A mod is not a cheat, nor is it a miserable little pile of secrets. Cheats aim to make the player's life easier while keeping the game intact. A mod changes the game itself. The changes may be very minor and insignificant (e.g. changing caps to look like afros), or major (e.g. changing actual character skills).
