Talk:Paladin Combat Skills

I streamlined some of the skill info bullet points. the ones on holy bolt especially. try to keep the descriptions on these main skill tree pages very short and to the point. If more extensive discussion of a skill is necessary, then feel free to make a page just for that skill, import the table, and go into all the detail you want.

eventually we'd like to have individual pages for every skill in the game, with really indepth info, slvl tables up to 50 (or higher?), strategy recommendations, mentions of which build types use it most, etc. So don't be afraid to start on those if a skill could benefit from that type of coverage.

Tables

I reformatted the table under the Holy Bolt section so it was a little more resolution-friendly. That was before I realized that many people have screen resolutions set much higher than 1024x768 now, so I refrained from editing the rest of the tables that appeared to overlap the page border. --Psyrus

Holy Shield

Does holy shield add to the total blocking % or to the shield's blocking %? For instance, Category:Armor#Defense_and_Blocking (apparently I can't write a link to the subsection of the category page, wiki just eats it) says the formula is

Total Blocking % = [Blocking x (Dexterity – 15)] / (Character Level x 2)

Now if I have enough in Holy Shield to add +32 to my blocking, does that mean

Total Blocking % = [Blocking x (Dexterity – 15)] / (Character Level x 2) + 32

Or does that mean

Total Blocking % = [(Blocking + 32) x (Dexterity – 15)] / (Character Level x 2)
