Ancient's Pledge, executed correctly in both cases. You'll want to use it in a paladin shield with a large inherent bonus to resistance, if you are a Paladin. Possible in 1.11 and 1.10.
The Ancient's Pledge is the one RuneWord everyone will have a chance to execute, since all the runes in it are common, but also they are all given to you by Qual-Khek in Act Five. You just have to find or make a three-socket shield and stick them in correctly. The main competition for this is a triple diamond socketed shield. Perfect diamonds get you 57% resistance to all, 14% more, so you have to decide if 14% resistance is worth a bonus to defense and the 10% melee damage goes to mana. The bonus from Ancient's varies slightly, you get either 43 or 48% resistance, usually three of one and one of the other.
