BeltsWhile belts provide some additional Armor Class, even though part of a character's armorand also potential magical modifiers, generally their greatest benefit are not a vital part of defense. Unable to hold sockets, a belt's primary function is to the additional slots they provide slots for quick access to drinking potions and scrolls. A character without a belt has one row of four slots; all belts provide additional rows, up to a maximum of four rows (16 slots).
