* Monster variety Many act 5 monsters appear in ~~Act Five~~ an area only on Normal difficulty , where the monster variety is ~~static -- the same monsters are always in the same areas~~fixed, not random. (~~This~~ As was ~~true~~ the case on all difficulty levels of ~~NM/Hell also,~~ Act 5 prior to the v1.10patch.) * ~~Many Expansion monsters only appear as~~ [[Guest Monsters]] are found only in ~~v1.10+~~Act Five, and only on Nightmare and Hell difficulty levels.

* Monsters in areas marked "Boss Only" will only appear as random bosses or champions.

* Monsters in areas marked "No Boss" will never appear as random bosses or champions.
