[[Image:Mon-griswaldgriswold01.gifjpg|frame]]Griswold was the NPC blacksmith in Tristram, the only town area in Diablo I. His hearty, "What kin I do fer ya?" greeting, delivered in a hearty brogue, was one of the trademarks of the game. (Voice by Bill Roper.) He doesn't have a speaking role in Diablo II, but makes an appearance as a monster, corrupted and twisted into an undead demon by the destruction that engulfed Tristram following the conclusion of Diablo Iis [[Undead]].
Griswold is slow of footfound in [ [Tristram]], but can take a lot of damage, and hits quite hard, especially when characters are handicapped by the Amplify Damage his Cursed state inflictsappropriately enough. Tearing him apart from a distance He is not a safer bet than tanking him toe to toequest monster and need not be killed, so use your ranged attack if youthough he've got that option. His resistances are negligible, so elemental attacks are s usually a good idea.* Griswold can not be stunned or knocked back popped off by anything other than the Sanctuary Auraplayers while they're in Tristram to rescue Cain.* All values listed correspond to the difficulty levels: '''Normal / Nightmare / Hell'''
