Skeleton Mages are Undead.

These mages spawn with glowing hands, color-coded to the type of elemental damage they deal. Not every element spawns for each type of skeletal mage, and the different elemental mages have slightly different stats. They do not vary widely in hit points, experience, defense, or any other stats except for their resistances. All the skeletal mages are highly resistant to the type of elemental damage they themselves deal, and all types of Burning Dead are highly resistant to fire, as you would expect.

  • All values are listed by difficulty level: Normal / Nightmare / Hell.

Statistics

Only certain types of the four elemental skeleton mages actually exist. Types not listed do not spawn in v1.11.

Offense

Each type of Skeleton Mage spawns in several different elemental types. These have somewhat different stats and can be differentiated by the color of their projectile. These mages do not spawn in all elemental types on all difficulty levels. Spaces marked by -- do not exist in that element or on that difficulty level.

Defenses

No skeleton mages can be leeched with mana or life steal equipment. They have no meat on their bones to steal from.

  • Drain Effectiveness tells what % of a character's mana and life steal apply to that monster. 100 is all, 0 is none.
  • Chill Effectiveness tells what % of a character's cold length applies to the monster. 100 is all, 0 is no freeze/chill at all.
