~~Only~~ Yes, but only for item types that can have sockets (helms, non-throwing weapons, shields, and body armor). There are two methods of making crafted items with sockets: # Use the socketing quest reward from [[Larzuk]] to add a ~~magical~~ socket to a socket-less crafted item ~~that has~~ . Larzuk will always add exactly 1 socket to crafted items.# Keep crafting until an item with the 'Mechanic's' prefix pops up. This will randomly add 1-2 socketsto the crafted item.
