* There are four types of "Council Members" in the game. All with the same in-game graphics and hover name, but somewhat different statistics.
** Type 1 spawns only in Travincal, and is Fire Immune (on Hell). [[Ismail Vilehand]] and [[Toorc Icefist]] are this type.** Type 2 spawns in Travincal and is Lightning Immune (on Hell). [[Geleb, Wyand Flamefinger]] and his minions are this type.Also [[Wyand Voidbringer]] who spawns in Durance of Hate 3.** Type 3 spawns in Durance of Hate level 3 and is Lightning Immune (on Hell). [[Bremm, Sparkfist]] and [[Maffer Dragonhand]] are this type.** Type 4 spawns only in the Throne of Destruction. [[Bartuc_the_BloodyBartuc the Bloody]] and his minions.
Council members are found in the same places each game, and they drop better than normal monsters, often yielding double stacks of goldor two items, but they do not drop as well as Champions or Bosses. Prior to v1.09, Council Members and the SuperUniques found with them, were very difficult to kill thanks to their habit of healing themselves by teleporting, or by casting a healing spell on themselves. They very seldom teleport or cast healing in v1.11.
