Claw Viper Temple can be found in the Valley of Snakes, beyond the Lost City in Act II and holds the key to two quests: The Horadric Staff & The Tainted Sun.

Entrance to the Temple.

The Claw Viper Temple is located in the small surface area called the Valley of Snakes, which basically only consists of the temple entrance, with it's spectacular Claw Viper statues.

The story does not say if these statues have been made by men in honour of the vipers, or if they make them with their own hands.. er.. claws.

The Horadric Staff and The Tainted Sun quests are notably both finished in the temple (The Horadric Staff quest would only be finished if you've completed the other tasks in a chronological order).

Level Information

• Monster levels are usually always equal to the area level with exception to uniques (mlvl +3) and champions (mlvl +2).
