This is a list of all unique amulets found in the game. Click each unique name for more details.

Unique jewelry can be gambled in Diablo II, except in patch versions 1.07 and 1.08. Additional unique amulets have been added in the expansion and various patches since, as sorted below.

Amulet graphics are randomly selected, and do not tie to any particular amulet. There are lots more amulet graphics found on the game CD, and it's unknown why Blizzard never enabled more of them, or gave any of the unique amulets unique artwork.

Uniques could not be gambled in v1.07 and v1.08. They may be gambled in v1.09 and later.

Ladder Only uniques are available in all game modes including non-ladder Single Player in Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Unique Amulet Rarity[edit]

These odds apply to v1.10+ only.

Unique Amulets Qlvl Rarity
Nokozan Relic 14 20
Eye of Etlich 20 5
Mahim-Oak Curio 34 5
Saracen's Chance 53 10
The Cat's Eye 58 5
Rising Sun 58 5
Crescent Moon 58 5
Atma's Scarab 60 5
Highlord's Wrath 73 5
Mara's Kaleidoscope 80 5
Seraph's Hymn 73 3
Metalgrid 85 2
Total: 85+ 75
  • The "Rarity" odds assume that the monster dropping the amulet is capable of dropping every unique amulet in the game. Hence, if a monster able to drop Metalgrid drops a unique amulet, there is a 2/75 chance it will be the Metalgrid
  • If the monster's Mlvl isn't high enough to drop some of the amulets, the rarity odds change accordingly. For example, an Mlvl 40 monster could only drop the first three amulets, so it would have a 20/30 chance to drop the Nokozan Relic, 5/30 to drop the Eye of Etlich, and a 5/30 chance to drop the Mahim-Oak Curio.

D2C Amulet Generation Order[edit]

In Diablo II 1.06 and prior, there was a set order for the three rings and three amulets to be generated in, either from gamble or monster drop.

Nokozan Relic -> Eye of Etlich -> Mahim-Oak Curio

The game would always drop the Nokozan Relic unless it was already in the game. If it was, then the game would always drop an Eye of Etlich. Only if both those were in the game would a Mahim-Oak Curio appear. If all three were in the game and the game tried to create a unique amulet, either from a monster drop or from gambling, it would generate a rare instead. Since the Eye is the most popular/useful unique amulet, most characters would carry a Nokozan in their stash, or carry all three to increase their odds of a Rare amulet.

This order was abolished in D2X and D2 1.08, when drops became randomized, but weighted by the rarity odds listed above.
